I have a question about my TPS

I have a question about my TPS 1 and 2 measured values of resistance between connector terminals. Service manual states TPS1 fully closed should be 4-5 ohms and TPS2 should be 0.5-1. When I take a reading between the upper and middle terminals of each TPS I get the same reading whether at fully closed or fully open. What am I missing here?

Does TPS one and two work in unison or does one go from 4-5 ohms closed to 0.5-1 open while TPS two goes from 0.5-1 closed to 4-5 open? Meaning do they work opposite of each other?

I have never tested a TPS as we have never had to do anything one with one other than re-setting it. Contact Tohatsu at 972-323-6003.
