"I had an alert horn go off the other day after a 10 minute run. Didn't hear it until I came off plane. Had 16 psi water pressure, and the motor was running and "peeing" fine. I don't think I had an overheat condition, I've heard that horn before. Is there more than 1 alarm sound on this engine?"

Dave 16 psi sounds like an awful lot - could mean a clog in the water channels somewhere which would result in an overheat.

Only 2 things cause horns - no oil or overheat - assuming of course that it isn't a bad sensor or a bad horn.

But I would investigate the water pressure - anything over 12 psi would be "unusual" and coming off plane I would expect it to be in the 4-9 psi range...
