"Hello all,
I am new here, so excuse me if I've done something wrong.
I have a 7.5hp Sea King I got in trade last year. I am getting her running now, but have a couple questions that may save me from having to purchase a manual. (maybe not)
First, the model tag is torn, but I believe it is a k751. Based on the serial number, it is a 1980 model.
I am in need of the gap specs for the plug. I think they are .030" but am not sure.
Second, there is a label on the front that says Electronic Ignition, but I cannot see any type of ECM. Is it a true breaker point ignition? If so, I am in need of the point gaps.
Lastly, I have read in other forums that some models (I believe they were talking of the 751) where the engine is air cooled and the L/U had an impeller for water cooling. Is this true about this unit?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Bruce"
