what is the procedure for the

what is the procedure for the high speed adjustment? a friend has it on a '15 ft astroglas
and it won't plane the boat. right before he ran out of gas the rpm's increased dramatically and almost got on plane.

u need to dial in idle mixture and timing, then u adj wot timing

sounds like the idle mixture is not set right, or carbs ar gummed up"
