Just wondering what's invo

Just wondering what's involved to repower from a 318 to a 360? Running a right hand 318 on a velvet drive t-mission. Doable or not? Am going to rebuild engine this spring and can just as easy use a 360 block and heads.

"No problem Steve, just make sure you stay with RH components. You can still buy these guys remanufactured. You might find it less expensive than doing it yourself, plus you get the warranty."

"The flywheel and damper pulley is different for a 360, but everything else external is similar. Some 360s used a different oil pan as well.

I had read somewhere about the

I had read somewhere about the oilpans being different. Main bearing size or something. I talked to a guy at a rebuilder and he said they could dynamically balance a 360 with my 318 flywheel and dampener. Could use the extra cubes since I boat mainly at 6000 ft. What is the WOT rpm range on a 360? Steve
