"I have a 83 cable shifted 3.8 V6/800 that lost forward/reverse under power. I was wondering if a model 400 could be swapped in and used while i disassemble and repair the 800. Also, any ideas what would give out like that? no noises were heard or grinding..nothing.. just lost all drive.
