I have a fuel problem with my

I have a fuel problem with my MD7B. I prime the injector pump and start the engine. In a few minutes it revs. a bit and then seems to run out of fuel.
I installed an elec. fuel pump and it does the same thing.
Anyone have any ideas ?

I know this sounds funny but m

I know this sounds funny but make sure the engine kill cable is not maladjusted. Loosen the fittings on the engine and rotate the kill lever all the way closed. I bought a NY36 that also has the MD7B. I adjusted the cable and the boat ran well for the entire 2006 sailing season.
