When operating my trim to the

When operating my trim to the up position it sounds perfectly normal. When lowering my drive it has a different sound to it. It sounds as if it is screeching or something. Cant explain the noise very well. I know it is just not a normal sound. I believe it is in the electric motor part of the trim pump assembly. Ideas?? (1994 Cobra)

"My '89 Cobra does it as well. Fluid level is OK, and it seems to work fine, but it screams when lowering.

Anyone have any ideas?"
