"Hi all, bought a 1974 Century
"Hi all, bought a 1974 Century Arabian and after trying to get it tuned today discovered it had a good deal of water in the oil, compression check indicated a blown headgasket on the stbd side. it had 130 lbs compression on all the port cyl. I am thinking that I will have the heads done while off. What sould the compression be on this motor. I am thinking 130 may be a bit low, motor has 250 hrs on it. Oh well , at least now I know why it was breaking down under full throttle.."
