Why do suzuki 2 stroke 115&#39

Why do suzuki 2 stroke 115's have a reputation for blowing clouds of smoke on starting (even warm starts) is it the sensor? mick.

i have heard amsoil is excellent
stay away from penzoil, it tends to sludge up in the tank"
