Anything to change in out drive for swap from 50 to 57

"I've got a locked up 1987

"I've got a locked up 1987 5.0 and am thinking about swaping in a 1982 5.7. I there anything special I need to think about?

Do I need to change the gearing in the outdrve or can I do what I need to with the prop?

"the 82 has i one peice rear man seal, and the 87 has the two piece set up. they use diffrent flywheels, engine coplers, heads and intake manifold, if you have a pre 1987 350 it is identicle to the 305"
