"I'm about to buy a 1982 25' catalina it was repowered in 1998 with a FWC 350 Marine Power & Borg Waner Velet drive, the boat is in excellent cond. and runs great. The seller had a left or counter clockwise rotation engine put in. Is this good or bad? And does this cause the boat to handle different than right hand rotation?"
 
"left hand is normal rotation.

"left hand is normal rotation. right hand motors are not being used now. dont need them with newer gears. only handing difference You will have is in reverse. since it's a new boat to You, won't make much difference at all. not to worry."
