I would like to put in a 1999 Volve SX engine but can I keep my Alpha 1 generation 2 outdrive?
What problems would there be ?

"If the the volvo is a 5.0 or 5.7 the actual mounting will just be a change of the bell housing, coupler and front mounts. There will be some issues for the wiring harness, shift/throttle cables and exhaust. Everything from the Merc will transfer so it's a case of change what you can't adapt."
