"Check the engine label for the specs. in degrees. There should be a timing mark line stamped on the damper behind the crank pulley. Mark it with chalk or better yet, leave the line clean and paint a thin white line on both sides of it so you can see the timing flash fill in the dark line like I did. Also paint an arrow point on the timing dial at the correct degree mark. It stands out more."

Thanks for the help but I mean the marks on the gears to see if I put the timing chain in currectly I put the top gear dot going down and the top gear pointing straight up is that right? Thanks
