I need to replace the balancer

I need to replace the balancer on my 5.7L.
Are there options other than buying a one from the boat dealer?
Anyone had luck with a rebuilt balancer?

Just about any 5.7 balancer will work. It doesn't need to be a marine part.
This doesn't meen much but I've never heard of a rebuilt balancer.

Try the local junk yard for a good used one.

Just make sure you use a balance puller & installer. Do not hammer the balancer on to the crank. This can cause damage to the bearings inside the engine.
