1997 454 Starboard engine back
1997 454 Starboard engine backfires then slows to idle speed up to 1200 rpm and runs perfect.Shut down the engine and in about 10-15 minutes everything is fine anywhere from 20 min to 2hrs then the problem repeats.Temp oil voltage normal.This occurs while crusing at 3400-3600 rpm.So far the dist cap rotor module coil have been changed as well as fuel controll module with no change.The engine has never stalled out.Fuel filters clean and there is only one fuel tank and no trouble with port engine.
