I think i have some condisati

I think i have some condisation in my distibutor cap and rotor cause when i go to start it she some times stops cranking with a slight bang and resets itself. I figured i'd start with the cap and rotor.

"What do you mean by "rese

"What do you mean by "reset"? If it cranks over and it's not a fairly steady RPM (more of a rrr r r r rrr), it could be that the timing is advanced too much. How old are the cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires? If the plug wires are old, you may have cross-fire, which will affect the way it starts and runs. Wet cap and rotor are bad, too."

"cap, rotor, wires, plus = che

"cap, rotor, wires, plus = cheap. Kown good ignition parts are always good. Not sure this is your problem though."
