115DT dying out on me

"Start up and go no problem.

"Start up and go no problem. Motor sounds and runs great. Then, I get a couple of miles from the dock and the motor just dies on me when I'm runnin' 4500 - 5200 rpm. First diagnosis was a bad fuel pump and relay. However, after further review, that was not the issue - fuel pump and relay replaced and it still dies on me.
Is this a power pack sensor issue?

Any suggestions appreciated."

Can you see if you can check a few things to try and isolate it.
Does the motor die without warning.
Does it restart easily, smokily etc.
Once its died does it fail more frequently that trip.
Check the fuel primer bulb is hard, you may have a blocked vent. I think you are right in suspecting electrical but I would disconnect check and reconnect each wire in the engine turn. I don't think suzuki power packs have a high failure rate. What year is your motor?
