"I see that from both of mine a times--but I use a laser-pointed temperature gage to scan the entire engine and exhaust system, so I know it's okay. You can buy one for 30 bucks (and then you'll know as well).

Thank you Jeff. I see you are very helpful on this site and it is appreciated. Engine temps seem fine...160-175 range. However I haven't scaned entire engine yet and will ASAP. My mechanic and I will be on it in the am and I will let you and others know what we find. Possible riser or manifold issue...or hopefully not but we will see.

What did you find out? I've had the same mysterious steam from my starboard 220 crusader. Same thing, temps are fine.

Yes I did. I had some hot spo

Yes I did. I had some hot spots on my manifolds. I ended up replacing manifolds and risers and of course all new gaskets. It really helped.
