"Hello, just bought a 2000 Nissan 5 hp 2 stroke motor. Here's the problem. When I hook the fuel tank up and prime the bulb, the carb floods and gas runs out the top. Motor will not start. I unhooked the tank, turned the throttle wide open, pulled the rope till it finally started. It ran till I hooked the tank up again, then it died. I'm thinking the float is stuck and not closing. Am I right or is it something else? Thanks for your input."
