"I am new to owning a boat but have had experience with enjoying other boats my friends have owned. I just bought a 26' Bayliner Deckboat with the 150HP Force. I have done the cleaning, general repairs of a few broken hinges,making sure all the safety gear is intact, etc. I need some advice on the motor maintenance and if anyone knows of a good boat service center around Asheville,NC. The previous owner said he had it serviced last fall and from the looks of the boat, I am not doubting him, but do I need to service the boat before putting it on the water for the summer? I would appreciate any help you can offer.
