"I have a Mercruiser 140 with the 1389-8490 Carb. I received the carb as a basket case with the new carb kit. My question is I have the carb almost put back togather bit for the life of me I do not remember where the brass pin is to go. The picture of the kit on this site shows it and is in the picture of the carb kit from this site. Here is where to find the picture. The pin I am talking about is located on the pic at the bottom of the page and is inside the base gasket pic with 3 washers a spring and a C-Clip with the pin. I know it a dumb question but where does it go??
