In line gas filters

I would like to know the ansew

I would like to know the ansewer to that question also. Was out with the boat yesterday and found the engine loosing speed. Noted the priming bulb sucking flat and the engine dying. Removed the pick up line and found the inline filter in the tank bad.

You can go super cheap and sim

You can go super cheap and simply put in a generic automotive style in-line filter.

A better option is to pick up a Marine water separating filter.

You can usually get the whole assembly for 30 bucks or so (for an aftermarket version) and it will serve the double duty of keeping moisture/water (as well as other "cooties") from getting to the motor.

Water is a considerable problem in todays ethanol blended gas. It attracts water and it will often start separating out in as little as 2 weeks....
