"I recently acquired two Sea King motors, one is a 3 hp model no. GG18735B and the other is a 3.5 hp model no. VWB-19068. I was wondering what year these are? What type of mixture for fuel and what type of oil to mix with? Are these air cooled or water cooled. I obviously don't know much about these little motors so all help is appreciated. Any tips before firing them up? Thanks in advance."

"The GG is a 1962, made by the Gale division of omc. It is liquid cooled and should be mixed 24:1 with TCW-3 oil. The VWB is a 1964, made by Chrysler. Sorry, I don't know much about that one, but look and see if it has cooling fins on the cylinder. If it does, it's air cooled.
I'm sure you will get a reply from someone on this one though."

Try Evinrude or Johnson parts too! They work with this motor.Don't ask shops for SeaKing parts, they;ll look at you crosseyed. Ask for parts from Evinrude and Johnson that are comparable. You may have to take the part in to get a perfect fit."
