43 EFI problems after winter storage starts up but

I am from Sweden so pls excuse my spelling/wording..Just put the boat in after a long and cold winter..it starts but not so easily seems like the automatic choke doesnt work, then it runs OK at idle and also OK ( but not perfect with a bit more RPM still in neutral) THEN...when you put in a gear it can run at very low RPM but if you accelerate it dies. If you try to keep it running by going back to neutral it acts really strange and dies.
It worked perfectly before winter storage, we have changed fuel filter. If its the fuel pump why does it work pretty ok in neutral? Even at high RPM? Any support very welcome we have got a short summer up here so.."

i think you hit the nail on the head when you said automatic choke it may be falling shut when you throttle up check it real good and let us know after it is warmed up hook something to the choke to keep it open then see how she runs
