"Hello, I have a 1988 mercruiser 3.0L with alpha one the problem I am having is the alternator sometimes will only register about 12.5v on the volt meter but after running for 2 or 3 minutes it will kick up to 14.5v. My question is can the alt. be charging intermitently? I have cleaned all the connections but still happens,but not always! Batteries are fully charged!"
