"I am replacing a 1969 omc outdrive with another similar one, but the steering is different. I have taken the wormgear, worm wheel and components from my original outdrive to put in the replacement. However, there seems to be some sort of plugs at both ends of the wormgear tube since it was not originally equipped with this. Does anybody know how to get these plugs out?"
