"I have a d2-55 which produces white smoke but more likely steam when the engine warms up and gets worst as the revs rise.Have changed the injectors as I thought at first it to be to unburnt fuel,there being no loss of coolant.But it is slowly getting worst.Any help would be very welcome."
 
I have exactly the same proble

I have exactly the same problem. The whte smoke certainly appears to be steam and only occurs at operating RPM (i.e. steam clears at idle) Engine doesn't show any signs of overheating and there is water coming from the exhaust. Both oil and coolant appear to be normal in colour and level. Engine starts first time every time and makes RPM just fine. I do wonder whether there is sufficient water exiting exhaust. Could a minor blockage in the raw water side of the cooling system cause the steam?
