"Hello,

Problem...when the engine is started(cold ) is idles fine. After running it for a while and stopped for 15 minutes or so, and started again, when full throttle up is given, the engine stalls. However, if given gradual throttle, the engine suddenly seems to have life and picks up speed as it should . Any ideas ?"

"Vito,
When it stalls does it seem to be running rich on fuel (flooding) or running out of fuel?"

"Dave,

It seems to starve for fuel."

"Vito,
Check the stiffness of your primer bulb right after the engine dies. If it is soft, you are probably losing your fuel and pulling air. You could try pumping fuel with the primer bulb while increasing throttle to help confirm loss of fuel. Could be leaking check valve, fuel line connection, fuel line, etc. or combinations of any.
Your fuel delivery needs to be airtight, no leakage. Is you tank vented?

Vito the carbies are set a little lean turn each low speed mixture screw out 1/4 of a turn (anti clock)and it will solve your problem
