"I have a 2 stroke Tohatsu 19 horse which I believe is a 1991 motor. I am trying to replace the impeller but I am having a very hard time removing the lower unit. I have removed the 4 obvious nuts holding the housing in place, and I have disconnected the shift rod coupler, but the lower unit does not want to budge. Am I missing something? I have tried tapping it with a block of wood and a hammer. I have tried a pry bar. Before I really put some muscle into it and break something, can someone give me some advice?"
