"After I replaced my Power steering pump, I noticed that my Sea Water pump was not aligned properly - it was crooked a bit. I thought it was not a big deal but today I took the boat out for a spin and noticed that my serpentine belt was almost gone. Fortunately, I was able to make it to the dock.
After a closer look, I figured out that there was a missing brace for my sea water pump
(curently, the pump is attached to the bracket with two bolts, no brace as a third point).
I looked up at the diagram and found the part number (#861530). I'm going to order it today, but I couldn't figure out how and where to attach it to the pump and to the engine.
Any help greatly appreciated.
