"Hello all, thanks for the valuable information about the topic I posted earlier.
I have been very humbled about the price of a new Mercarb for my 5.0 Mercruiser.
Looks like I am going to buy a rebuild kit, but does anyone have a few pages from the service manual on how to rebuild it properly and setting the idle and float, etc, after rebuilding it? I am fixing to drop in it to some carb cleaner to soak for a couple of days, and would like some info before I get it tore down.
