I think I have a 1983 85 HP Force outboard. The model number has been scratched so many times I cant be sure. I need a manual but all the ones I can find start with 1984. Will a 1984 manual work or where can I find one for a 1983?

"85 hp was made from 83-89. The service manual should be OK for all those years. There will be minor partnumber differences between 83-84.
