"Hi, I think I read a question earlier about this but just wanted to make sure it's correct.. Should the exhaust bellow have holes in the bottom side of it, like slits or is this where its just worn through ?

The slits in the exhast bellow

The slits in the exhast bellows are to reduce presure when the engine is at idle and the boat is not moving; therefore allowing for a steady idle.
