"I just bought a sea ray with

"I just bought a sea ray with a new engine I was told thatit has been only ran less than an hour when we took it out got maybe 7 minutes run time before it hit the red zone. I shut it down and it would not start or crank so I pulled the plugs and have water in the cylinders, oil is still clear does not appear milky please help new to this."

Water could be coming in the exhaust pipes if there are/were shutters in them and they weren't put in or are burnt out

"intake manifolds can also crack, rot or leak into the cylinders.
More common the leak into the crankcase, but weirder things have happened.
Pressure test the cooling system.
We don't know what parts are new or used, but if the manifolds were just replaced, that is the last place human hands were and that is therefore the first suspect place.Wrong riser gasket, untrue surfaces, sealant used etc...

99 times out of 100, water in cylinders = manifolds"
