"Bought this 98' 90 HP Force a few months ago and have been out a few times with no trouble, has low hours as it sat in storage since late 90's with previous owner. When running with earmuffs testing new gauges the other day I noticed that warm water was coming from an area where the shift rod goes down into the lower unit. Shift rod is a moving part so that's normal, right? I bought a lower unit seal kit and new impeller but would rather not install if not needed."
