"I just read Mercruiser v aftermarket and realised I used yamaha drive oil for my alpha 1 gen 2 drive as my local marine mechanic said to use his pump container after replacing my water pump. Is this ok?? I have clocked up only 3 hrs and temp gauge is alittle high so have just purchased merc thermostat. your comments on the oil drive would be appreciated, Thanks.}"
