"anyone have one for sale, mine developed a rod knock last season.

if i cant find one would it be a good idea to pull the engine and just replace the bearings and oil pump and put it back together."

a 1989 460 truck engine would be identical as far as the short block (rotating assembly) goes.
A Ford guy would know how far either way you could go year wise.

You can pop in brass core plugs and swap in your marine cam. Change head gaskets to composite if boating in salt water and then swap all marine parts over.
