"I switched out my 4 Cyl. Engine 470 to a 260 V-8. The boats original throttle cable reaches the new carb, but I couldn't get the throttle cable to fit. I ran out of adjustment.
Should I move the mounting point to make up the gap or do I need a 260's throttle cable.
