"Hey guys, replacing shifter cable on my 1980 #1 drive assembly. I usually get my parts from ebasicpower. When i went to order the cable, they told me this part is no longer avaliable. Now you use a newer style cable? They said i would have to tap out the hole on the aft side of the bellhousing, with a 1/4" pipe tap. Has anyone heard or done this yet?"
