"I am taking advantage of the slower economy and great prices and decided to update my 1984 26' Sleekcraft Ambassador. The boat's at the fiberglass shop now and I am going to replace the alpha drive with a bravo drive. Holding the Bravo drive template up to my current Alpha drive cut out I can see the only difference is the addition of two more holes at the top of the cut out. All the other holes match up. My current drive ratio is 1.50. Should I keep the ratio the same with the new bravo? The new transom housing comes with the complete outer transom, shift cable, gimbal bearing, trim senders, trim rams, anodes, mercathode, inner transom plate and mounting hardware. What else will be needed when converting from a alpha to a bravo and can I use anything from my alpha set up?

Thanks!!!"

Ayuh,....

"What else will be needed when converting from a alpha to a bravo"

You'll need an Engine Driven Raw Waterpump....

The Bravos Don't have 1 in the drive, like an Alpha..."
