"I am replacing 2 x 671 (280HP) DD engines with 2 x 8V92 (650HP) DD engines on my 65' launch, but there will be severe space constraints if they are mounted in the traditional longitudinal array.
I want to know if I am able to mount these transversely, which would require a 90 degree transfer case or similar to the shafts... has anyone done this - or can you send me a reference of it being done successfully.
