"Hi All
in my sailboat I have a Volvo Penta MD2030D and I am going to work out the normal yearly maintenance.
I realized that in these 4 years I have never changed the coolant, so I would like to do it and cleaning the heat exchanger.
Looking at the manual the operation seems pretty easy and faster.
My issue is that my engine does not have the drain cock to drain the coolant. Instead of this drain cock there is a square bolt.
Due to the square head instead of hexagonal I have not found any specific hardware to unscrew this square bolt. I tried to build a specific hardware but it did not work properly (the square bolt is screewed very tight and the accessibily is not the best.
Then I was not able to screw off this square bolt.
My question is: there is another way to drain and clean the refrigerant circuit (for example with a pump from the refrigerant cup, removing a pipe from the circulation pump, ...).
Thanks a lot for your support,
