I have 2003 225 yahama 4stroke
I have 2003 225 yahama 4strokes on a 28 hydro vector. they both use oil but the starbord engine uses much more about 2 quarts every 10 hours. I never see any leaks on the power head on or around the foot or in the water and have always assumed they were burning the oil. that kind of usage you think they would smoke visably or foul plugs. anyone know what yahama or ford considers acceptable consumption in hours or miles.
