"I just purchased a Bayliner with the volvo penta 4 cylinder in it, it had two of the spark plug wires on it but was missing the other two. Can anyone tell me the firing order or a layout of which plug goes with which plugin on the cap?"
 
"the firing order is 1,2,3,4,

"the firing order is 1,2,3,4, with #1 being on the top left when looking at the front of the dist .and then going clockwise"

"I'm sorry i'm not real noligable about enignes. There was two wires already on there, and going by you order, I don't think any of the wires i have on the are in any of the right order. looking at the top of the engine where is the #1 plug the front of the motor (where the belts are) Or (the back where the exhaust is)? & looking at my cap it is not striaght, it is turned. I have uploaded a picture i drew of it could you take a look at it?"

i just went through all of that myself
and order is 1342
