I put boat on the water and wi

I put boat on the water and within 5 minutes my warning buzzer wes going off.Shut motor down disconnected battery cable stoped.Motor ran all day no problems.Went to load on trailer and same thing happened.Got home hooked up to hose and noticsd number 2 plug wire loose .Ran motor for 20 minutes no buzzer could plug wire being loose cause the problem.Thanks

Maybe the un burnt fuel was causing the motor to run hot.
the only way to tell is to run it again and keep a eye on it
