"Does anyone know of a linkage kit that would enable me to link my sternndrive to a kicker motor so that I can steer the kicker using the boats steering? The kicker is a yamaha 8hp. Thanks for your help,

"I've not seen kit to buy but a few years ago my dad & I (both machinists)made up a simple connector out of 5/8" dia. stainless rod & air hose connectors for quick release. We built a clamp for the top of our alpha 1 outdrive, then built the connecting rod to go up and over to another clamp on the back of the kicker. One thing to watch out for is to make the distance (arm) from the pivot points (radius) the same. I looks & works very well. A good machine shop can design & build this for you for resonable $$
