"I have recently purchased an '85 Invader and also a Seloc manual for the outdrive. Haven't been impressed by the manual and was wondering if Clymer manuals were any better? Am mechanically inclined and need torque specs, better teardown proceedures for my AQ125B and 270 outdrive.
Any input would be appreciated.

"Personally, I prefer the manufacturer's manuals. I have read Hayne's and Chilton's for cars and won't use them. I haven't used Seloc but have read some things in Clymer manuals and when I wanted Mercruiser manuals for a friends' boat, I found them at e-bay. I worked at two boat dealers and the OEM manuals are much better, IMO."
