My oil for the power trim in t

My oil for the power trim in the resivoir looks a little milkly but not bad
I want to drain and change out but how do you do this it is on a Alpha One power trim XD to get all the oil out ?
And can I use just a SAE 10-30 Oil or should I go buy power trim oil ??

"The water is probably from rain. This is a common problem.. Unless you rebuild and clean the entire system you never get it all out. To start, remove trim tank and flush, With lines disconnected at pump and lift drive by hand all the way up and let it go all the way down. This should purge most of the fluid out of the cylinders. reassemble and refill unit (I use 30w non-detergent) others use trans fluid or trim fluid(expensive). You will need to bleed the system."

"John, I suck out most of the oil from the resovoir with a large eyedropper-type thing, and replace it. I use standard 5W-30 oil. I am do not understand how rain could get into the system, unless your bilge filled up. i will guess that your cylinder seals are not as good as they once were, and lake or seawater is leaking in."
