Swaped eng an now wont go in Reverse

I swapped engines mercruser 3

I swapped engines mercruser 3.0 trans was working fine before now it will go in forward but not in reverse I did shift it wile I had it out an would change gears fine any one have any ideas thanks
 
Shift cables are out of adjust

Shift cables are out of adjustment? Engine alignment?
 
These are very easy to screw u

These are very easy to screw up.
If you have never done this before it is a job that is best left to someone that knows what they are doing.
If it is not correct the lower gear case can be damaged in a hurry.
If you feel the need to do this buy a service manual so you stand a chance of getting it right.

thanks charli but i was kind hoping someome would give me some help on this i have a manaul an i dont want to take out to some one else it all ways cost way to much thay want to put this an that on but hay thanks any way
